Stuart McCurdy

Stuart McCurdy pursued Mechanical Engineering and graduated from the University of Alberta, Canada whilst also attaining an MBA at Richard Ivey School of Business.Stuart started his career designing offshore Oil and Gas equipment and structures. He later completed an MBA degree and moved into Project Management and Business Development roles                                                                                 

He located to Australia in 2012 and was involved with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of offshore pipelines installed in Western Australia. 

Stuart started with Papworth’s Construction Testing Equipment (PCTE) at the start of 2017 and specialses in NDT equipment for the construction and utilities industries including Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR).

Having now been with PCTE for 2 years, ‘Stu’ is passionate about NDT because to him it combines problem solving with state-of-the-art technology. He decided to enter the field of NDT due to the influence of his old mentor.
