Update Septmeber 2023 to Screening Eagle INSPECT 4, the intelligent asset inspection and management software now supports a brand-new mobile app designed to empower the entire inspection process.

With the new iPhone app, users can now collect structural data with full INSPECT capabilities and seamless integration with the iPad, or laptop. This makes it even faster for site inspection teams to complete tasks and move to the next site.

The RESTful API now in closed beat will allow users to fetch all Assets, Spots and Reports through simple HTTP requests to download data in its simplest form. INSPECT 4 is also more tailored to every user’s unique requirements with the new Field Dashboard to boost productivity on daily tasks.

After loading your 2D or 3D plan for the site, it is extremely easy to survey the site and add “SPOTS”. A spot will include all of the information about a location on the plan including:

Defect Type and Severity, with codes customisable to match local standards or client ratings.
Photos can be taken with an iPad, or uploaded from other sources using files available on the iPad
Sensor Data such as ground penetrating radar scans, Ultrasonic Pulse Echo mesurements and more
Notes and other documents can also be stored and shared within INSPEC

Features

Geolocation - 2D, 3D- GeoMap, loaded before or during the inspection, the user has the option of using 2D, 3D or Geomaps to geolocate the data.
- 2D plans can be created from PDF floor plans, User made Sketches, Or Photos
- 3D plans are very intuitive and allow the user to scroll through the structure
- GeoMaps allow data to be collected over large external areas with Apple Maps and the GPS to assist

Tools like Assisted Capture (using the iPad camera to locate position inside) mean the inspector can quickly add detailed location of inspection SPOT locations.

Sensor Overlay

Now you can easily overlay your NDT sensor data on to your 2D view and generate a report with it, showcasing exactly where you did the scan and what you have found out in relevance of the plans. The overlay on the floorplan completely changes the perspective of the data, enabling you to create fast reports with valuable information that can be immediately understood. The transparency can also be adjusted to see the original drawing at the same time.
External Photos

Need to use a more powerful camera? Now you can use any external camera to quickly capture data on your assets. With the new photo stubbing feature, you can define each photo selection in your spot, and then upload the data. INSPECT’S intelligent software algorithm will automatically assign each image to correct the spot location. This saves significant time in the field and enables you to use more powerful cameras for example where access is not possible.
Checklist Workflow

Inspect supports you in your daily workflows. You can create and adapt fully customizable Checklists according to the specific needs and different asset types, assign them to your teammates and work through them in the field. Whether you conduct a fire safety inspection, a building inspection, a safety walk-around, or a drone pre-flight check, the Checklist workflow makes sure that nothing is forgotten and procedures are followed consistently in the right way.
Multi-asset Overview

Managing assets becomes faster and more organized with the multi-asset overview on Inspect. All your project data can be found easily on the Geomap where you can immediately see assets by location. You can also structure them in folders or a list view. With folders, you can organize assets faster and separate them into customer or project folders and sub-folders to manage your assets reliably.
